Background

Growing up primarily in Sonoma County, California, I come from a military family and have lived on both coasts of the United States.  I graduated High School in Dumfries, VA, just outside of the capital beltway, and attended Northern Virginia Community College before making the trek back to California in 2007.  Once in San Diego, I attended San Diego Mesa College for a year before transferring to Woodbury University.

Education

Woodbury University // Bachelor of Architecture // Burbank, CA

Having two different campuses, Woodbury enables architecture students to transfer freely between the main campus in Burbank, and the satellite campus in San Diego.  This allowed me to broaden my education, by exposing me to differing architectural theories.  Many of the instructors at the San Diego campus were raised and educated in Latin American countries, coupled with the campus's proximity to the Tijuana border, this gave me the opportunity to explore the cultural history architecture has played in Spanish colonial world, even allowing me to travel to Argentina twice. The Burbank campus is Woodbury's main campus, with several other degree programs other than Architecture.  This exposed me to numerous other design theories as we would compare ideas between other disciplines, such as interior architecture, graphic design, computer animation, film, and fashion design.  The instructors at the Burbank campus were also from a broader background themselves, being from all over the United Sates and the world.
